WH Internet is a freelance web design company run by Wayne Hunt. The company has been trading since 2006 when due to the amount of work that was coming in for Wayne it was decided to set up a company properly.
Since then WH Internet has flourished as a web design company and enjoys a solid reputation amongst the local businesses in the Berkshire area that have used the service.
As WH Internet like to keep the personal element alive in the work, this page is here to tell you more about the designer you will be working with on both a technical and personal level.
Technical
I have been involved in web design since 2004 (at time of writing 3 years) and have always been interested in all things creative. Whilst learning web design at college I covered the basic areas of Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop.
Since then I have furthered my own skills through books, the power of the internet and taking knowledge and inspiration from work colleagues. My skill set (which will ultimately be passed onto your website) includes the following:
- The Adobe Creative Suite family (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Contribute)
- A vast knowledge of HTML and CSS (all new website's by WH Internet are built using HTML and CSS design, meaning your site is more user and search engine friendly)
- Scripting languages such as PHP, JavaScript and ActionScript
- A good knowledge of W3C - W3C is the web design standards commission and uses a strict set of rules which website's (particular commercial) should adhere to for the benefit of being accessible to all users, including users that may be visually impaired.
Personal
I am 26 years old and am currently living in Reading, Berkshire, which gives me easy access to the M4, M3 and can enable me to commute easily to any destination in the London/South East area. When I do get the chance to take a break from my work, I enjoy playing and watching football and have played Sunday League football for many years in numerous different positions from left winger, to striker, to centre half and centre midfield!
I am also season ticket holder at Reading FC and go to all home games and some away when I can.
I enjoy music and would list all my favourite bands on here but we'd be here forever. My love of music doesn't just stop at listening to it either. I have also been playing the guitar since the age of 13 and was in a band during my school/college years.
Other than that I enjoy doing what any other 26 year old male does. Going out with my friends down the pub and having a laugh.
